Wonderful. Was worried for her when it came to being put on the spot, but I'm loving William. Just one thing, sometimes reading Buffy saying accidental Britishisms throw me right out of a story.

Do you have a beta? A beta could catch little things like that and it would improve the flow and make the characterisations sharper. I hope I haven't offended you as I know how easy it is to be sensitive about such things Despite that hiccup, I'm seriously loving your story.

Author's Response: Thanks for your review Megan. As an Australian author I have no doubt I make these sorts of gaffs all the time and just don't know I'm dong it. So yes I absolutely do want to know when I do it, otherwise how can I improve my writing. If you feel like putting you hand up I'd be happy to send you the next chapter for checking. *big grin*

Oh boy. I feel for her. This has to be hard. And she must be missing her friends even if they don't exist. The new ones are cool, but you know...it's just not the same. Even if Zac is like Xander. :) I'm loving this!.

Author's Response: Absolutely. I had such a hard time developing new friends for Buffy because I love the Sunnydale characters so much. The hardest part of writing this story is sticking with the initial concept in its strictest sense. But I'm really glad that I have because it's been great fun to write.

William's friends seem really nice, I hope the rest of the evening goes well. Loved how William covered for Buffy at the end of the chapter. Great update!
