I loved the story! Wonderful angst. I personally love it when characters have to work for their happy ending because it makes it that much more real and this story was great. Buffy's character was a good representation of how many battered wives live and the fears that they face. Too bad too few of them don't have wonderful and handsome step-sons like Spike ;)

I just finished reading chapt 1 through 28. I'm sitting on the bus home from work and I'm bawling like a baby , chapter 28 made me cry ,people on the bus staring at me , your stories always get to me , I love the angst as much you do ,which is why i always enjoy them besides the fact that yur a great writer.

I enjoyed this story the entire way through. You're right, it was hard to read at points, but life is hard to live at points too and I think you depicted it very realistically the entire way through.

Brilliant ending. You took Spike and Buffy through so much pain and heartache and then to have them emerge into the light. Their children a lasting legacy it had all been worth it in the end. I do hope you continue with a new story in the very near future. Thanks.

I realize that your writing comes from your heart and a basic need to create. I've got to thank you once again for continuing to share your talent with us. (and for ignoring the occasional flame battle that occurs ... I cringe whenever they pop up ... but you are mature enough to rise above the crazies ... thankfully!!!!!!!) Dear Addie, I don't think it's possible for you to write a story I don't like. Your stories are always well thought out and plot driven, and this one is no exception. It was a pleasure to read from beginning to end and left me with a feeling of contentment.........loved the epilogue. A perfect ending.........and even if I don't always review; for whatever reason.........whenever I see a new story by you on any of the websites I frequent, I'm eager to read it because I know it will be good. ..............................thanks Kathryn

So very fitting to return to England and start over. Glad the trust fund was still in tact, sure makes starting over a good bit easier, not that they needed the money. It was a bit trying at times, but such a marvelous read, and he was such a bastard two people were likely to shoot at him in one night. A great crime story too. Thanks so much for sharing. I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to whatever your brain comes up with next. :)
