I just finished this story, and I enjoyed it very much. The subtle changes that you made to what "really" happened made it better without changing the basic story. Increasing Faith's part in the action was a very good touch, and more in keepng, I believe, with her basic character; Faith wouldn't be content to keep playing second banana to Buffy, despite the older girl's greater experience. She didn't accept authority before she went into prison, and I see no reasion for that to have changed in the ensueing time.

I do feel that the "almost" relationship between Faith and Willow never would've worked, and Principal Wood should have played a somewhat larger part (with the other changes you made to canon, it would've been a great touch to have him be an undercover agent for the First Evil).

The Watchers' Council showing up at the last minute with an army of newly activated Slayers was something that I wasn't expecting, but it made the ultimate descent into the Hellmouth somewhat more believable than Buffy's decision on the show to face down an army of Turok Han underground whil at the same time fighting off a hoard of Bringers in the school.

On the whole, a very good story, fun to read, staying within the parameters and established characters of the characters involved, and a wise decision on your part to exclude some of the origonal characters, thereby avoiding making the story too cumbersome,

I realize that Faith and Willow together isn't everyone's favorite, and it was never something I intended as the ultimate true love for either of them. But in this story they are both feeling out their positions within the group, as The Girls Who Kill, and it brings them closer together. I had a lot of fun with this one. Changing the way the slayers got 'called' gave me a lot of freedom to change things. I hope you'll enjoy my other stories as well, and thank you again for the comments!

This is really fascinating. Wonderful dream sequence with Xander - excellent bit of characterization, btw - and an interesting premise that'll definitely keep me coming back for more! More soon? Please?
