You have drawn tears from me, a history is precious, but very sad.
I never had listened to that song, it can be because I live in Spain, and that music is not popular this way. And to listen to reading the fic, is very sad.
Spike's life is a drama, fullness of anguish and death, but he had opportunity to know the love before living to army, it's a pity that he had had a so spoiled life, and than after knowing love, he had gotten killed in the war.

She suffers a nervous breakdown by the death of his, but in the course of time, she manage to go to London, The journey is not like the one she had imagined herself like at the dock, but at least, can be in contact with a part of his, when visiting that so especial place for him and saying goodbye to him.

Congratulations for the fic, you are incredible, even I am in tears, but I have liked it.

Oh you made me cry.......new it would be a sad story.....just didn't think it would so heartwrenching and so beautifully written that it would hurt so bad.......no regrets reading it either..........for in death he was loved and will live forever in the heart of the one who loved him most......

Author's Response: aww, that last sentenceof your review is so beautiful. I said it before, I'm not sorry that I made some readers cry, shows me that the story seems to work. I think my beta had a bit of work with the grammar because the story made me emotional too and I got too distracted by the story itself and because the song still gets to me too much. I'm such a wuss that I still get teary-eyed when I hear it. A thanks to Deedo again for finding my mistakes. Thanks to you for leaving such a nice review and I'm happy you enjoyed it.

Great story! I can understand why it would sound like the other story, can't go to far with the same song, but you did a good job. You should really read Zarrah's story btw one of my faves of all time

Author's Response: I'm certainly going to read the story by Zarrah, but after the dust settled on mine and I had some distance. I was way too nervous about posting it as it is and then hearing first thing in the morning after posting, that it sounds like another story had made me even more nervous. I thought people would think I used that story as basis and not that just the song inspiried me. *sigh* I saw later that it was a "real" story and not like mine a songficlet, that calmed me a bit. ;-) Oh my, I'm rambling in a review response LOL. Thank you very much for leaving a review and I'm so happy that you liked what I wrote.
