Author's Response: *grins* It's one of my favorite chapter names, too. Alludes to the darkness of the fic, too, since TESB was by far the darkest and most depressing of the trilogy. My favorite of them, though.

I really can't stop laughing at Spike right now, kinda makes me wish there had been an episode of Buffy where Spike had to go to school for some reason, because I think he would've been exactly like this. Chapter 3 now...

Wow... Spike is so a badass. And yay for the junior english class curriculum! I'm a junior and we read The Crucible, haha. :) And I ruined it for everyone, too! Well, the part about Giles, at least.
Author's Response: Hahaha, I used to always ruin books for the class, too. Really, it's like school's always five years behind. The Crucible is something you should read in, like eighth grade, or at least I did. But I had to read it again junior year. :( And everyone was WTH'ing The Grapes of Wrath because they didn't understand it. :(

loved it lots. buffy's kinda a ditz but then again it is still early in the story.
Author's Response: Yeah, first mountain that needs traversing is definitely Buffy. She'll either be a dynamic character or a character with a tragic past; but either way, she won't be a ditz for long. I really don't like downplaying the love interest, but I think it makes the story that much more appealing and different. Thanks for commenting.
