I probably wouldn't of gotten further than the first chapter without ya. Sometimes I wanna write this as a pseudo-tragedy with a sad ending, but you're all there to faithfully keep me in check. ^_^ And I'm happy for that, too, as I'd also be pissed if I read any lengthy Spuffy story that ended sadly. Author's Response: Definitely a toss up. Hopefully you'll find some solace, though, in that I'm going to explore fully next chapter how Faith found out, and Spike will be just as shocked as Buffy. Basically, he didn't consciously do anything bad; maybe that will put the hate off of Spike a little. He knows that its taboo, trust me. Spike might be sick, but he's not that sick. ^_^ Thanks for commenting!

Did Spike tell or did she find out on her own. He told Angel but I didn't think he told anyone else.

I see some groveling that Spike will have to do to get Buffys trust and love back.

Author's Response: :D I love your reviews; they tell me exactly what you're thinking and where to go, what's plausible and what's implausible, how you feel about the characters, etc. We will explore how Faith came to know the secret next chapter; it's not as bad as it seems by the cliffhanger. As for Spike groveling... he's gonna do some, but probably less than you'd expect. Mostly I'm gonna throw him in situations where he can consciously be a better person, help Buffy, see the world in more than black and white, destroy stereotypes, and overall become a hero. Not abandoning the anti-hero in him, though; most of the stuff he does will probably be unknowingly at first. Thanks for reviewing! :D

I must admit the Spuffy relationship so far is kind of sick, but hey, I like reading it, so maybe I'm not all there either. ;) Love the story, really hate Faith.

Author's Response: Yep, I'd definitely describe the current Spuffiness as disturbing and sick.... my intentions were pretty much always aimed at doing that. :) This is pretty much the end of that stuff, though. Thanks for the feedback!

So far, I've enjoyed the story. I don't know if you consider this the "rock bottom" for Buffy, and if it's not then you could have something where she loses herself (like in drugs or somethin'). Then, she'd have to rely on Spike to pull her out. Reminiscent of Marissa/Ryan in the O.C. Just a thought, continue on. I like it.

Author's Response: We have not hit rock bottom yet; that's next chapter. :) Since I'm a little wanker and love to copy from media and literature I've come across, you are correct in this story becoming reminiscent of The OC in the future. I'm not gonna give it away, but I've always wanted someone to OD in this story. Originally I got the idea from a song called "The Freshman" by The Verve Pipe, but rewatching the first eight episodes of The OC pretty much cemented overdosing at the top of my proverbial checklist. Definitely expect this story to be similar to The OC at times; I really really really liked Mexico and Tijuana and the Hospital, I felt that those were landmark episodes almost on par with Buffy, and I've been contemplating the idea of going to that same place. But that's a little ways ahead, and I still have time to think about it. Thank you for your great feedback! :D
