WOW! That Angel/Dru thing was intense, and I totally did not see either the destruction or the reconstruction coming. You have a real feel for this sort of scene - I thought the same thing while reading your Spuffy violence followed by sex scene in the earlier chapter. Great violent action, great transitions to something else/more.

What a vivid, richly detailed story you're weaving here. I love how the prophecy has placed this cast of characters in a tilt-a-whirl, unbalancing the relationships and emotions of each. Spike and Buffy coming together was erotic and violent in turns, and I was on pins and needles when it was over. Spike seems resigned to the prophecy, but your Buffy was still reeling and expecting the worst. Your Dru is driven, and this last chapter's vivid dusting was beautifully drawn. This is a wild ride, and I'm looking forward to the future for both couples.

Holy crap! Living vampires? Ensouled....but are they good? What does it mean for Buffy and Spike? Are Angel and Dru meant to make children of this new race? Will they be daywalkers?
