Found this story and I couldn't stop reading it. Absolutely wonderful characterization + plot. All the twists and turns keep me enthralled. You've brought the characters to life in a new way. Can't wait to see more.

Author's Response: Hi Billie Rose, There will be more going up very soon as I just can't stop writing. This is my first fic and I am gobsmacked over the number of readers who are enjoying it. Please keep reading and reviewing - it really does help to feed the muse cos right now she has been a lazy bint

Good riddance, can't say I will miss him... what wories me is that on top of being evil, Angelus seems clever. Now he has a good alibi. The suspense is killing me, and since it is what you aim for ( I guess), all I can say is: good job! (Oh, and I hope the horse is all right!)

Author's Response: Hi Alex, just shows how much the man will be missed as you are not the first to ask about the horse. LOL. I promise the horse will be just fine. I will make sure I mention it in the next chapter. I think the bloody thing should get a medal - don't you?

Hi!

I really love your story. It's well written, diferrent, sexy and very engaging. In fact i read all the 62 chapters in one seating! I'm just dismayed with Chapter 15, i couldnt accept reading any story about sexual intercourse with another man. Good thing that it is only one chapter and Spike was able to wake up immediately from continuing with this kind of relationship with Drusilla. It's revolting really. I could accept Spike being a womanizer but a homo? No way!

I cant wait to see the next chapters! I know you are the writer but if i could make a request? Please dont make another chapter like Chapter 15. Please!!!

Author's Response: Don't worry luv, chapter 15 will NOT be repeated. It was used to show how much that horrible cow controlled him to the point where he did everything she said, but did not always remember it. I hope you liked Betrothal Ball where she got a taste of her own medicine. I hate the bitch too. She is a dirty slut-bag and deserves to be where she is

Is it me or is it wrong for me to be happy that Craven is finally dead and by his horse no less? Well, I think it was the perfect way to die by an animal that I'm sure like most people in his life he pushed to the limit. But as I do a happy dance, I'm still afraid for the other people not just Buffy and Spike, but Clem, Faith, Dawn, Xander, Annandale, Joyce and even Giles. Despite those thoughts as usual you delivered a great chapter! Oh, I know they're fictional characters but I pray for their safety. I hope that you had a good rest! Thanks for the update.

Author's Response: Thanks Orchid - hopefully another chappy later. having dinner first with the family before I write, and write and write........

Damn, Craven's death was too bland and so NOT one he deserved......it should've been more bloody and at the hands of Angelus......I still tremble at how Buffy will be treated in that monsters hands.......if he does get a hold of her and no immediate rescue.........

Author's Response: HI Kimber, we have to start small in order to build it up. He has many people in his mind to sort out yet. Thanks so much for coming back here to review as I could not respond on AFF and I am so glad to be able to thank you for your continual support. If you noticed I dedicated a chapter to you in thanks. There will be more soon - I promise

one down, how many to go? Great chapter, but that lady cathrine won't be happy with her decision. *hugs*

Author's Response: Hi Eve, there are many to go, but how many before the wedding - that's the question

Wow! I never saw that coming. I thought he would go after Faith first. Using Lady Catherine as an albi is....inspired. I wonder how long the news will take to reach Buffy and Spike? At least Lady Joyce is free to follow her heart. Please update soon I wanna know who is next in the firing line?

Author's Response: Hi Mag-rose - it great that you are still reading and reviewing. It's not over yet babes. Lots of fun to come

I'm really enjoying this story. I started reading it here, then went to AFF to read the rest you had posted. Glad to see you've caught up here. Like everyone- no tears are shed for Craven here, but am worried about Angelus' next target. Can't wait for another update.

Author's Response: Hi Scooter, it would appear that half the readership skipped to AFF to read the rest. I don't mind because it just shows that everyone was interested and could not wait. I'll be honest, when I find a good story on a site I troll the others to see if I can find more of the story elsewhere. I caught the story up after AFF went a bit nuts about signing in and logging in and all the palaver that goes with it. Please keep reviewing, luv. It feeds my soul (and my fingers)

No love lost there. So who gets the money now? Joyce or Xander as the oldest and only boy? Love your story. Can't wait to see what happens next. Please write more soon! Thanks

Author's Response: Hi bluebird, I wanted rid of him too as he was starting to grate on my last nerve. Lots more to come babe but it will be a bit slower now as the fic has caught up - check every day as I am on leave next week so I can just write and write and write

Already posted my review on AFF, but couldn't resist letting you know that it was a really good chapter on here as well. So, is the horse ok?

Author's Response: HI Serenity, Is the horse OK? Just shows where your priorities lie. LOL. The first in a long line of revenge methinks, so many possibilites

Gillypod , I have been following this story for some time now, and I am sorry to say this is my first review. Every day I come to check this story and am amazed at how quickly you are progressing! What fun it is to recieve these chapters to read. Thank you so much! You are a gifted writer, and it seems to be getting better and better as you go... Angelus and Drusilla have added a lot of depth to the overall story, but all of the characters are true to what you would expect them to be like, so nice when that happens! Cudos to you and keep on going! We are out here waiting for the rest of the story! Thank you again

Author's Response: Aw Silver81 - your review has touched my heart. I am so happy that there are people out there who are tuly enjoying my saga. I'm sorry there is not as much smut as some people expected, but the story just took over, and over, and over......

A death less dignified could not occur to this man who thought himself master of all he saw and owned. As for Angelus, he sure is one coniving thug who has mastered the art of vengeance. I can only hope that Angelus will be careless and let slip out that he was responsible for Craven's death to Catherine to torment her. A woman with nowhere to go but the street, this would only fuel her anger and pride and sell that tidbit to those in power for a secure life.

Great chapter depicting the beginning of Angelus' plans and revenge.

Author's Response: VETTE - YEAH!!!!, I finally get to speak ot you. First I have to thank you for all your reviews over on AFF. I cant respond on that site, but I did dedicate a chapter to you to let you know how much I appreciated everything you have said about my story. It's fast becoming a saga I'm afraid as I can't seem to stop writing plot. I will still post to AFF as that is the link the award sites have, but I promise that this site will get the chapters at the same time. Thank you for coming back and letting me talk to you. Contact me through the site, I really would like to talk to you.

I can't honeslty say that the death of the Duke is a loss, and it does show the evil that lives in Angelus, and I am afraid there is more to come, not to mention the sadistic streak that Catherine will feel from him. I do hope that William is up for the what ever Angelus has in store for him and Buffy. When the devil gets his due, it will be a good day. Great chapter and thanks

Author's Response: Hi Debbie, he was a git and deserved everything he got. I am so glad you enjoyed enough to review. There will be more soon, I promise
