Author's Response: I think the next chapter will answer most of your questions behind Buffy's reasoning, first part will back track and be her POV. Thank you for not ranting at me, and lots of hugs for being kind enough to review. (At this point, you are the only one who did.) I will be working on the next chapter soon, hopefully work won't be too busy and will let me write. Sadly, it's really warm out and that usually brings out things of the bad. Dang...Spike hurt Buffy and Giles is still after her. That sucks. I hope Spike finds out about the plan. Hopefully Buffy will make it out undead. Can't wait for more!!!

Ouch!! Buffy got hurt. Buffy is afraid that she can't control her demon to drink from Spike.

Something tells me that Giles is going to be wrong. I'm afraid for Spike. Something tells me that something is going to happen to him because of Giles not wanting to listen. If I'm right I hope he doesn't die. He is the slayer and I know most of them die young but maybe Spike can live long.

So, we are not going to like Giles in this story. I think the only time that I really didn't like Giles on the show is when he and Robin tried killing Spike. Made me mad that they did that to my Spike. LOL

As you already know, I LOVED this! The gloomy-doomy cloud that hangs over their heads has me chewing the ragged edges of my nails.

For Buffy to be kneeling, things must indeed be extremely ominous, and I doubt that Faith's is the only life she's worried about (I mean... duh: Apocalypse pending!)

I really loved seeing an update on this one! I had forgotten about it *hangs head in shame* but thankfully it was on my fav list and I got mailed! I fully remember now why it was there, as it is a very well written, extremely interesting story and I cannot wait for more!
