I love your portrayal of Willow. I couldn't believe that they made her the leader when Buffy died. She was so power hungry and selfish.

Oh my Tara was right Willow is jealous of Buffy because she lost the power.

Author's Response: That seemed to make sense to me, that she atleast subconsciously objected to losing the power she'd been given while Buffy was gone.

SQUEE!!! I was so afraid that I wasn't gonna be able to read this story anymore, but thank goodness I am!! I absolutely love this!! You've written the characters so realistically---and how I love the way you've characterized Tara and Buffy's relationship---that I'm just astounded by it all. I can easily picture all of this happening and only wish that it'd happened on the show. Fantastic, hon, and I'm soo very happy to read some more of your stories. I've really missed you!! Take care!

Wow, what a well written chapter, the Willow thing supprised me. Look foward to their talk.

Yeah, Tara may be a silent one but she watches closely.
Willow isn't okay with Buffy being with Spike? She screamed at Spike and hit him? No, not very accepting indeed. He still has the chip and couldn't defend himself.
I'm glad Tara stayed with Buffy and talked to her, making her feel better. Willow has to get a grip. She should be glad that Buffy found a new love; she's not acting as Buffy's friend like she was till now (and still is I guess).

sweet chapter. It's interesting how you're shifting the threat of potential evil off of Spike and onto Willow. i can't help but feel a little worried about why it's so "quiet upstairs..." Spike IS vulnerable now, we all are when we reveal a truth that our loved ones don't want to hear. I always found it tiresome that Buffy's friends remained so stupidly blind to Spike's good qualities - it just didn't ring true after a while. But this makes sense that the sky wouldn't fall if Buffy told them and that Willow might go to a dark place with it. Looking forward to the next chapter!!

What a wonderfully insightful assessment of Willow. Her behaviour is as worrying as ever and I am interested to see where you take that particular plot thread.

I love the way you express Buffy's thoughts in this chapter: the doubt; the fear; the thoroughly justified indignation all mixed in with a touch of her natural irreverance. Above all the hope shines through and is such a mood-lifter.

Thanks for the great read and I'm glad your spirits are so well improved!

Author's Response: LOL, Holly tells me she's glad I've managed to finally write my animosity for Willow in a fic and that I've made it believable. Hopefully everyone else will think that last as well. Nothing worse than character bashing without a point! Buffy is seriously complex to write--particularly in this season. I hope that she does come across as hopeful--they really had a lot going for them if they'd had the smarts to look! I do feel more positive lately, and I am so glad you're reading! Thank you.
