usually i don't read this kind of stories, cuz i'm a sucker for happy endings... lol
so, i don't really know why i read yours (i could be wrong of course, but i don't smell the happy end here), but i'm glad i did it.
this first chapter is great, i loved the insight on spike's "rejection". and buffy's determination to be there for him was touching. i liked too that she pointed out that he was the only one that didn't abandon her like the others did.
can't waint for the next stage!

I can really believe in your take on Spike's words at the Hellmouth, and Buffy is what I'd hope she'd be. The spark anology is spot on. Can't wait to see how you handle the other four stages.
