It’s incredible how you can always make us love Joyce and Clem, and even Xander with his redemption. But I’m still a little worried about Willow…

Now, about Spike… oh…poor baby. And Buffy watching his torture, it really broke my heart. I just hope you’ll reward our guts (of reading it) with the last chapter ;)

Oh, and I’m really HATING Giles!!!

It's good to see them so happy in these difficult times. At last they have themselves (and Buffy's family). Wanting to survive is a good first step (because if you have given up hope when you're starting a fight... that's bad and will possible kill you anyway). They will have difficulties enough fighting an army.
Dawn isn't answering her cell phone? ThAt had me worried too.
I'm glad Joyce convinced Willow and Tara to help. Anya was an unexpected bonus (wanting to help to). Didn't expect Xander to help again. So it's only Giles that won't help, stupid watcher.
Ack.. too late, Buffy and Spike are caught. But names have powers. And giving his name to them was his downfall. But only thanks to Anya because she knew who Jansen of Salano was. :)
Awe :) But with the help of the Scoobies they won! Good ending of that chapter.
Looking forward to the next one (the last one if I understand correctly?) and what's the what about Giles (the truth behind Spike killing his father).

Thank god for the Scoobies! They pulled through!! I like it when they pull through. Giles is an idiot though. Though I do realize he thinks Spike killed his father, he shouldn't have sacrificed Buffy's feelings or possible her life because of that. Hopefully that really is the end of Jansen.

The Scooby meeting went well for Spike, getting along the new members he met. And Buffy told Xander what she thought of his way treating Spike :)
Bad though that Jansen knows now of the claim, intending to rather kill Spike instead of Dawn.
Giles thought about Spike turning his father, leaving him to kill his father? I wonder if that was right (Spike's childe or Angelus' childe).
Spike has a big enemy in Giles and doesn't know it... even worse (more dangerous).

Hi Gilly, congrats on your nomination's and good luck been waiting for this update and it's great , loved their making love on the research table, your so good at writing these scenes, you always mix the right amount of smut with loving emotional feelings.
So, that's what's up with Giles? legimate reason for hatred but the intensity of it is uncomfortable, it makes him seem extremely evil. I'm glad Dawns no longer in danger, and now evil arrogant Giles has unknowingly solved Jansen's dilemma on how to get Spike. Giles and Xander need more than a spanking. Egads that was a great chapter. Glad that Giles's secret finally came out of the closet and that Spike was still able to make Buffy realize that he loves her. Can't wait for more!

I thought mates went crazy and usually died once the other was dead. Doesn't that mean Buffy will be too anguished to go on? How will this work? I hope I don't have to find out and they find another way. It would be horrible to have Spike die! I couldn't stand it!! Great chapter! Can't wait for more!

Author's Response: Hi honey, do you think I will let our man die? NO WAY. But they do have to get themselves out of the prophecy, and between them we can only hope they can. The whole premise of the prophecy was that she had to suffer watching someone she loves die - but just what will happen.......we will have to wait and see
