Great story, but these dreams are really starting to freak me out. The dialogue bewteen Buffy and Spike is awesome though. Love the wuick updates, got to read a whole bunch of chapters right in a row!

Love this plot-line, and the fact that Spike and Buffy haven't got any old history of unrequited love makes the story more fresh, new and exciting, especially since it's placed in nineteenth century England! Very excited, can't wait to read the rest - cue lots of Angelus and Slayer Buffy kicking his ass I hope!? And of course, Spuffy goodness!
Author's Response: Thanks. Yes, I thought setting it in a time when they were getting closer, but not yet in the "Crush" stage would allow them to develop a relationship. There will be Angelus kicking, but you may have to wait a while for it....

I'm really enjoying this fic but just one question, are Spike and Buffy wearing wedding bands? I'm surprised no one, especially Cook, has noticed.
Author's Response: Not yet, they're not. Never even crossed my mind, to tell you the truth. I don't even know when wedding bands became common enough that the lack would be noticed. I don't wear mine - haven't for years - so I guess it's just not something I think about. Thanks for pointing that potential plot hole out - I'll have to look into the ring situation in Victoria times and decide if a tiny re-write might be in order...
