I've been in tears several times while reading this tale! It's that damn good! What a heartwrenching storyline. And I'm so mad a Giles right now I hope Andrew pushes him off the roof, but it doesn't kill him, oh no, that would be too easy. I want him suffer....Perhaps his broken and twisted body could house a sharp as ever mind that finds himself enslaved by some demonic master!!! I'm so glad Buffy and Spike have found each other in the compound, now I just hope Spike will let Buffy help him escape and they go away somewhere together to heal. Poor Spike! More please, I've got the tissues ready!

I think that I became temporarily ADD or dyslexic just for this chapter ... I read and reread and reread part after part and I was holding my breath and almost passing out. Gads ... great chapter !!! I hope that I am not amiss in feeling a little some relief for Spike. I just want him to have a break from all of the pain for awhle. I figure it's going to take him about 25 chapters to get emotionally righted now eh? (just kidding, but seriously though)

You do such a wonderful job of soaking an emotion. Your "evil" is so EVIL and your "broken" is so BROKEN ... I'm drained after each chapter. Great stuff.

Excellent tale, so very dark and emotional and I want so much for Spike to be rescued so he can begin healing and hopfully, Buffy will surprise herself and discover she can deal on the emotional level that Spike will need for him to become truly Spike again. More please. As sad as it is, i love it!

I waited so patiently for this update thinking this is the chapter she finally rescues him and I get more torture instead , I want only Giles and Rayne torture and now Modrin too, and anybody else who hurts him, and as far as Buffy not knowing how to comfort and give TLC , well she better learn how. This chapter, like the others leading up to it, had me on the edge of my seat. I want to rush in and save my Spike and of course do away with Ethan. I always trust you to get us to a great ending no matter how bad things get. (they are pretty bad now ... yikes!!)
