Spike would never do that if somebody he loved was in trouble. Indeed, that is what Spike would do for someone he considers as a friend or a loved one.
Good to hear that they (more Buffy) managed to get over the news that Spike killed slayers before. Loved the way Spike reacted when Buffy thought of an excuse for him for killing these slayers. Cute in a way. And that he almost slipped (how he feels about Buffy).
With telling of his past he told her a lot about herself, made her get to know him better. Therefore the new inside she has about him, huh?
All in all the dance was a good experience. Buffy found a new group of friends (and she doesn't have to lie what she is) and even noticed that she got jealous. She's indeed moving on.

Oh! I loved the latest chapter!! I've had to take a break from reading it because school being well school got in the way of my fun :( But not bitter after reading the last for chapters and I have to say this one was my favourite! I love the chemistry you have written between this set of Spuffy, and the slow, natural way their relationship is developing. Spike is wonderful in letting Buffy guide their relationship to suit her comfort while not giving over the reins completely. Loved it! Can't wait for more :)

That was a nice night, though I wish she spent more time with Spike. Usually I don't like "friendly demons" but this world is turning out better than what I thought. I like that people know Buffy is the Slayer and respect her for it. Makes her less of an outcast.
