It was nice how Spike got the car. And the whole blanket thing: Buffy worried about Spike being cold in the basement and telling him he can come upstairs, and offering her blanket

At last Buffy noticed that she hurt Spike's feelings...
but Spike did almost the same though this was more because he didn't watch what he was saying (that Buffy is still so young). ~ Grr Willow attacked (in a way), making their own TV program. Bad Willow, interrupting their moment too ;-)
At last Dawn was there in time; Dawn's remark was fun. An interesting reaction from Buffy ;-) She's very possessive *g* Spike noticed it too.

Good theory about this dimension. Dawn is becoming the postman now *g*. Loved the banter between the three and the secret messages at their other selfs (B+S) Fun :)
Looking forward how Buffy and Spike from the other dimension react to the letters.

I am embarrassed to admit i had forgotten about Xander's lack of Anya in this (that?) dimension. I would loovee it if you were able to put her into the story, even for a brief cameo, but I'm sure your story is already largely mapped out., so...
Anyways, great update, as usual, and I am excited to see how Buffy and Spike 2.0 react to the letters!

Her shoulders relaxed in relief. “What was it?”
“Jus’ a curious little chit tryin’ to get a look at my goodies,” ---This whole part made me laugh, it was great, wonderfully awkward and humorous at the same time. Her "I love Angel" outburst is such a perfect teenage Buffy in denial statement.
Also loved the separate notes from Spike and Buffy to their other selves and the back and forth between both spuffy couples that was hilarious and very in character for both sets/versions. I'm so sad that I have to wait another week to find out what's in the letters! :)

Author's Response: Nah - that Xander doesn't really figure into it much. Just that he's been so annoying right from the beginning when he shot the other Spike with the crossbow, that killing vamped Xander wouldn't be a problem for Spike. (did that makes sense? Too many Spikes. lol)

And the master is still in the works of developing his human factory with Willow and Xander in this world. Not qutie the world from the wish, but not that much different either. Ohhhh, poor Buffy. Willow and Xander as vamps. I wonder if the sense of family Spike felt was actually them (due to being sired by the Master or Angelus perhaps) or someone else? Also wondering who the Master is and whether it really is "Old Batface".
I love the codeword, just hope it doesn't backfire on them by being possibly something another Spike could say...
