Oh, I feel so sorry for this Buffy and Spike, shunted aside to make room for the other Buffy and Spike. Especially young Buffy, who lost all of her friends and her mother as well. But I can't wait to find out what happens next!

The ride may be bumpy, but I cannot beleive in any other kind of 'ending' for them. Despite demensions and age, they continue to find each other. Somethings cannot be argued with. I love it, and am so glad I found the slightly wayward update. Great chapter.

Buffy and Dawn still 'fight' like siblings *g*. Love the chapter with Dawn coming to visit. She made both Spike first and then Buffy going through the motions with the memories she brought them from the past.

Ah, Buffy/Spike lovin'!
younger Buffy and Spike are cute. I'm kind of shocked by vampires living on just pigs blood, but since this is a diff. world, I'm getting used to it.

Loved it :) Both the original versions of our pair and the younger ones.
So Spike became the master of this new Sunnydale. It's different but an interesting place.
And Buffy got a lesson there. Seems she could use some training with so little vamps to fight. Looking forward to how they'll react to Dawn.

I'm glad to see that we will be getting a few visits from the Original Buffy and Spike. And I love this younger Spike promising to fix Buffy's inability to kick his ass. And making her mad enough that she stakes the vampire just so she can wail on Spike, that was so very well played out. A really amazing chapter. And I'm gonna guess that that "pop" was Dawn and I really want to see how this meeting goes. Really looking forward to next week!

I just wrote the chapter where they begin the Spuffiness (kissing and more) but it's way ahead of where the story is now. Sorry! "our" Spuffy couple have a moment in the next chapter, though. :)

If Buffy didn't start talking that Spike didn't come home who knows how long it would have taken them to make up again. For a while they really talked....
Dawn missed the part when Spike stayed away / didn't notice that they argued. Hopefully she didn't get the wrong impression that all is happy in Sunnydale..

Glad that regardless of the reason he got out of his night with that vampiress. Don't know if he could forgive himself for that one. I haven't left reviews after the previous chapters (thank you for those!), but I just wanted to say that I am so happy that you are writing this fic. As happy as I was with the Buffy/Spike reunion at the end of Prologue to Life, I felt bad for the other Spike and wondered what happened to him. Even now, when he is developing feelings for this Buffy (and I think that ultimately he belongs with this version of Buffy, not the other one), I still feel bad for him sometimes: he still reminisces about the other Buffy and remembers how he was starting to care for her, etc. I guess that's what happens when PTB start playing around with dimensions :)

A lot of readers were concerned about the Spike that they had come to know and like in the first fic, so following him seemed like a logical thing to do. And, yeah, tPtB don't care much about the emotions of humans when they start playing with lives.
