Hi Gilly... This was a sad for me but interesting chapter, seems to me both Buffy and Spike are a little messed in the head. Not knowing their own minds, they both took sexual gratification from the other knowing it was meant for others reasons; Spikes reasons to impregnant Buffy so she will forced to stay with him and Buffy as a goodbye. The way I'm starting to see thing here is that Spike is no more using Buffy as a whore than she is using him, Yes he may be forceful with her but she responds to his touch and gives in to him. At the end she askes for the rough anal sex this is not the actions of a weak used whore this is the actuions of a strong emotional young women who knows what she wants and needs. Spike in his love fo her gives her everything she wants... then after she tries to break him by saying she leaving him, I somehow don't think so, she needs him like a plant needs sunlight or a f ish needs water.So she'll soon be back to him begging forgiveness with her tail between her legs...

god gilly she's a total bitch , she doesn't even see that she's been treating him the same way she says he's been treating her . She desreves to stay in Sunnydale and wind up with some boring hillbilly like Riley who will leave her wanting in every way.
You should have her beg him to take her back, when she finally realizes how much she does love him ,because although things look bad now , i know your a true blue spuffiyite just like me.-----but I want to smack her right upside the head . Dawn on the other hand got all the smarts in the family.

I should probably feel sorry for Buffy with her mother dying and all but I don't. She's just a self-centered, nasty beyotch. Dawn is one smart cookie.

This is a great story. I do like Spike in the story although I think he is a little possessive and selfish as his thoughts demonstrated. However, I know that is because he loves her so much and she does not love him. I don't know why Buffy thinks it is okay for her to use Spike for money but it is not okay for Spike to use her for sex. Although I know Spike does not feel that way now. It seems though that at the beginning of the realization they were both planning to use each other. I hope there will be some Spuffy and not too much angst.

Author's Response: Hi messy, My muse disappeared on me for a while, but now she's back with a vengeance. Two stories have been updated this week, and the next chapter for both is in the pipeline. I know Buffy was a bitch, but then I am all about the Spuffy, and we have a few things to get sorted out....

I started reading this story. I love it. But Buffy is the one with the problem. It isn't Spike's fault that she feels like a whore. He didn't make her open up her legs and let him in. That was all on you, honey. It isn't like he is sleeping with someone else or he is treating her bad. I kind of wanted to slap Buffy for telling him that she was ashamed of him because he treated her like a whore. She reminds me of Buffy from the show. Where it is about me and the way I feel. Poor Buffy.
