I've only just found this and read all I could find in one night. I simply adore this fic. I love the way you write Spike, he's very mysterious but at the same time still our favourite vampire.
Looking forward to an update. Once again, well done and very well written.

Yippee! Spike came in the nick of time! Poor Buffy, having to be slobbered on and man-handled by that big flesh sack of horse turds! Loved the "I'd tell you to piss off...." comment! And I can see Riley pissing himself in the face of a one on one vamp vs riley brawl. So now Spike, time to come clean with Buffy over who, or rather what exactly you are, well, at least have a nice love fest first and then maybe a confession, but right now.... just hold your girl, she needs it! Great tale, more please and hurry. Love it!

But it had to be done. ... Hee, glad you liked that part, it was fun to write it like that. Just starting reading this one tonight at the recommendation of another Spuffy author. I'm so glad I did. This is such a wonderful story. So full of passion. Well, most quality Spuffy is, but this one...takes it to another level. LOL! The only way I can explain it. I started reading, thinking "I'll just read the first couple of chapters. Then, the read through the rest tomorrow!" NOT! I found myself swept away in the story and, before I knew it, here I am at the end of Chapter 11. And, OMG! Wondering what Buffy's reaction to learning Spike's secret has be biting my nails! Congratulations on writing such a wonderful story. I know I'm going to enjoy the rest of it as much as I have the chapters I've read thus far. (*This is the part where you need to pat yourself on the back 'cause it's what I would be doing if I could. Job well done!*)

Whoa...is Giles gonna kill Riley? That would be so cool! Murder is bad but Riley definitely deserves it. I can't wait to see the Spuffy interaction. Poor Buffy. She must be in some serious shock after that. Will Spike let her know about his demon or wait? Can't wait to find out!!!

Awe, these too are really smitten with the other. And she was too eager to be with Spike again or she had checked the peephole first. Grrr a drunken Riley, that means no good. *sigh* Buffy is in big big trouble now.
I hoped somebody would have watched Riley entering but this is even better: Spike was still there and got suspicious. *phew* And just in time! Riley is lucky to got away alive.
But did he? ;-) I think Giles takes the matter in his own hands now. :D ~ Riley better never had tried someone dear to Spike. ~ Loved the update and as I said, not mad to get an update on this one. Appreciated it.

Author's Response: Hee, yeah, sorry for that, the new editor Pari had installed was quite difficult to figure and I actually had to delete the chapter one time while trying to figure it and then I just tweaked and kept trying. Not too easy. I'm glad you found a way to read the chapter, though.

Oh I was so excited to see an update. Riley was so wrong in his assessment of William as a "scrawny creep" and he was let off lightly. However, it would seem as if "Ripper" is to take over where William left off - how far are you going to let him go? Loved that he took his coat off and put his gloves on - very menacing. Buffy can't hide from the truth any more and I'm desperate to see how she's going to react. Loved it as much as ever.
