Finally a good story! I read a lot so when yougo to read fanfiction it's hard to find stories that have that same quailty as a book and I've found one here. Searching for days to find a nice written story. It's so good and so indepth. I love it

I kind of expected things to go wrong, so I wasn’t upset at the end of the chapter—there was too much buildup. Spike, like many other men, thought that big gestures like the flower from South America or a day in the spa, etc. would create a perfect evening, whereas “perfection” could stem from something much simpler, from an understanding between two people. While the whole day up to the dinner misunderstanding/argument was great and wonderful, it wasn’t necessary. Buffy loves him, not the thing she can buy for her. And as much as I don’t want to bring up the “A” word :), (I love Angel, but think his love for Cordelia was much better for him, just like Spike was better for Buffy—ok, I’m getting off the topic here, oops…) Spike’s thoughts of sacrificing his feelings for her own good (without letting her make a choice herself) definitely echo what Angel did in the series.

Never looked farther into what she might feel when it was over. Typical man, I guess. And yes, Buffy loves him and wants to be with him. I was sooo happy to get to work and see an update on AoI! Finally the perfect night, and then... and he... and you... OMG! I could kill you! (well, no I couldn't, cuz you're a sweetheart and I love talking to you, and I want you around, but still... that was a major risk you took, missy!)

You do know you have to make this up to us, right? LOL! I'm about to have people kidnap your muse and blackmail you for an update!

That said, despite the fact that I was actually growling at work, I loved the angst (hey, I'm sick, ask Tina!) and want more, please? *pouts and bats eyelashes*

lol. you better hope no one finds that secret hiding place of yours!!!! lol. not very nice way to end the chapter but completely understand why it had to be done. i see where spike is coming from but i really see where buffy is coming from. how could he think that making love once with her and then getting rid of her was going to be okay??? he knew how he'd feel after, but never took into consideration of how buffy would feel. great job. loved it soooooo much. you better post soon before ur found.

Disappointment.. to say the least. But I must admit as probably do the others that things have been going too well for our lovers to be..

And as usual misunderstandings.. she not realizing she could die in the process and him needing to understand her desire to be with him ... forever. a little too fairytale for our girl and unfortunately thinking the worst.. definitely more like the Buffy we know..

Awwwwwwww, you know your my sister in arms, and i love you dearly and promise to keep you going with this amazing story. Truly a brilliant chapter, the emotions and how high they ran, it was heartbreaking but truly worth it. After all, there has to be some angst on the road to spuffy, whic is all your about with AOI, a happy ending. Poor Buffy and SPike, its hard to choose who to feel more sorry for, but I hope its resolved as quickly as possible. Bravo my dear friend and sister for a brilliant chapter that moved us all emtotionally. Smooches
