Very hot! Loved the way you woke each of them up. Thought it was very sweet. I've loved everything about this story so far...well, with the exception of Riley, but he's a necessary evil. Looking forward to the next few chapters.

Thank you for the update. I am glad your father is doing better. The chapter was very good. I am glad to learn more of Spike's backstory. I am no fan of Riley but I wonder if his stay in the asylum will end up causing more problems. It explains a lot. Please update when you are able.

Just finished reading Chapter 13. Like you, I think there are far more horrible ways to make people pay that don't involve a quick death. What is happening to Riley is well deserved. I am, however, hoping you'll give more detail on what that lovely, evil Ethan Rayne has planned for him. Ethan is one character that I just love to watch - evil with a touch of Monty Python.

I have never been a big follower of artists, but after working for a college for 20+ years and having been in the midst of a fundraising campaign for new art buildings over the past several years, I have slowly come to appreciate various different venues. I have thoroughly enjoyed Spike's profession here. You have taken what can be a very complex subject and made it understandable and appreciated by even a novice such as myself.

Will look forward to the rest of your story. If it happens that Riley happens to meet up with a friend by the name of Big Butch or Big Kralik and becomes someones "bitch," I wouldn't really complain a bit. ;)

I'm happy you agree with me on this. It was impossible to resist when the idea surged in my mind. And don't worry, after a petition like that, how could I not show you in detail what Ethan has planned. Probably in the next 2 or 3 chapters.

To tell you the truth, art has never been my favorite subject and I never imagined I'd ever write anything related to it. However, my muse decided she wanted him to be an artist and I'm nothing if not her slave. Nothing I could do. So I've had to research and I'm very glad I've been able to transmit it in a believable way. Thank you for that, it means a lot to me.

Good Spike doesn't have a soul to loose, he was so happy with Buffy in his arms, trusting him.
Interesting part, showing Spike's past. Drusilla underestimated the human part in Spike (William if you will); that caused her death. ~ And yeah, I guess you'll need money if you need to hide yourself (even if only for paying W&H).
Oh! Bedlam... not a place where Riley will have fun. And I wondered how Dr. Ethan did fit in there; Giles is the connection. You're right, this fate is even worse than a quick death.
