Oh, wow, wicked twist. I did not see that coming. So Spike in his hast grabbed the wrong Buffy. I guess with all the fighting and the dirty/bloodied clothing it would be hard to tell them apart. Megan, i can't wait for your next update. I'm bouncing out of my chair, lol. This is a great story and i'm glad that I found it!

To answer your question, yes, that was good. I was just boggling at the possibilities, and I didn't realize authors didn't see the liked/disliked response. (I toggled it to liked.)

And I was refraining from openly speculating about some of the things I wanted to... like how fast Spike will realize his mistake if he doesn't get his Buffy-sense back with this Buffy... and how this will reverberate with skeeryWillow...

This was a very entertaining, sharply written chapter. Alterna!Willow is certainly a malevolent bitch. Her determination to rid her world of Buffy is playing right into Spike's hands, but it's still chilling to read. Buffy's reaction to the other Buffy was delightful. Her mind immediately going the 'bot and evil route had me grinning.

I'm looking forward to how you play out the post NFA drama. Thanks for the rollicking good read!

Vividly detailed and emotionally riveting chapter here. Buffy's struggle to get on with her life was completely upended on learning Spike was still alive. Her stunned, elated reaction was tempered by learning he's been back for months, and each day that no word arrives, has worn on her.

Spike's initial reaction to the other Buffy bodes well for his feelings for "his" Buffy, but now all I see is confusion and hurt feelings on the horizon. I know you'll make it all better in the end, and there were lots of funny lines to balance the angst. Kicking Angel's ass for igniting yet another apocalypse made me smile.

This story has potential.
I like the idea very much, even though I think the chapters are a bit confusing with so much back and forth between dimensions and Spikes and Buffys, but if I am not wrong, I suppose you want´to put everybody together on "canon" dimension. (?) The cliff hanger is good. Hope you update soon so we can see a confrontation between Spike and the two Buffys .

Author's Response: I'm definitely trying to get them all together and soonish I do soemthing to alleviate the confusion of who is who. I'm sorry if it's unclear right now but I was hoping that as each character sort of took over a chapter and the opposite circumstances shone through that it would help differentiate them. Sorry about the length between updates. My husband hijacked my computer for a long time.

Mmmm the Scoobies on the other plane are trying to save Spike too, giving Giles no chance to interfere. Who knows if that wasn't a very good decision :) And I forgot that this plane had a (powerful) witch too: Willow. Maybe a change to get back for the other Buffy that is connected with Spike. The talisman should be link enough to get there back *hopes*.
Spike found Willow then and noticed very well how powerful she was. Better to be careful and not to attack her. Maybe this way she'll tell him something.

Gah, no, I think some of this chapter was cut off. I don't think you meant to leave it there. Well, at least I'm sure now that we'll get to see our Buffy. It should be interesting when the two of them meet. And I have a feeling that the other Spike might end up in our dimension, too. You can never go wrong with two Spikes. Great chapter=)

Moving start to this new story. Buffy's antipathy toward Willow is well realized, she's making my skin crawl, too! Buffy's isolating losses are terrible, and Willow's reaction to them is sadly in character. Buffy's going to be shaken when she finds out who her mysterious friend is, and now that she's enroute to the alley confrontation, I'm guessing she's going to be hearing his voice soon!
