I don't see how anybody can think of Spike being harsh. Put yourself in his place. How would you like if somebody kept something like this a secret from you. Or if somebody decided to make a decision for you like this. Like Spike told Buffy. She just took off and didn't even let Spike tell her that he would still have free time.

I don't feel bad for Buffy at all in this chapter. I feel bad for Spike. Buffy is the one who hurt him and didn't let him know that he was going to be a dad. You just don't do that to someone. I do hope that he can forgive her because they are having a baby. But I don't feel bad for her.

Author's Response: Well, it is a Spuffy story so they gotta work it out ;) I appreciate to hear your point of view and I understand that most of you probably are pretty mad at Buffy right now. I'd be too, but the thing is that Buffy did this for him and not for herself. She was only looking out for him, but she did do a mistake when she didn't even think that Spike would want to be involved with their child.
I hope it makes some things a bit more clear, and I also hope I'm gonna be able to write the ending so that you guys will like it! Thanks for the review!

Spike's reaction certainly was interesting. Can't wait to see if these two kids can work things out. Good update.

Author's Response: I didnt really know how he would react in the beginning, but as I wrote it he just got angrier and angrier :) Hope it wasn't too much!

How sad... Spike made his opinion clear; Buffy hurt him by taking the decision out of his hands now. Who knows what would have happened otherwise... maybe one day Spike would accuse her to have lost his chance?
Anyway, now Spike left Buffy is devastated. Because is sound as if he doesn't love her anymore.

Go Spike, Go Spike

I'm so on Spike side on this. Yes, Buffy thought she was doing the right thing. But you can't just decide for Spike like that. It isn't right. How long was Buffy going to keep it to herself. How much things was Spike going to miss in his child's life because of her stupidity. If he haven't come looking for her like he says. She may have never have told him about the baby.

So I completely understand how hurt Spike is.

Can't wait to read more.

I had a really hard time deciding whether he would forgive her or not in this chapter but as so much else in this story I thought that would be too fast (maybe that's reason I'm almost up in 40 chapters now lol). Bad timing for Wood being there but at last Spike knows now that he is only a friend for Buffy, not more.
