Loved Buffy stand up for William (even if he would be able to do it himself. And like you can see (breaking her wrist, the way Angel treated Buffy) he isn't good for him. She's only good as long as she does something that pleases him.

Author's Response: Angel certainly was angry she stood up to him. She couldn't really stay with him after he hurt her. Thanks for your comments :)

Get him William!! Get him!!! I can't wait for the next update.

Author's Response: lol. Everyone's out for bloodshed. I'll try to write today if there are lulls at work. Maybe have the next chapter tonight.

I know what shirt Harm's talking about. I have to say, it's a scary shirt: C'mon, it looks like someone skinned Elmo from Sesame Street! Who would choose to wear Elmo fur?

Angel is an ass. Hopefully he falls down some stairs ;)

Author's Response: Yes, it's a fearsome fashion choice.

Stairs, huh? Let's see...I can arrange for that...now where to put the stairs....

Thanks for reviewing! :)

Buffy should have broke it off with Angel. Taking a break is too temporary. Can't wait to read more!

Author's Response: Well, she thinks she loves him, maybe it was easier to say "take a break". Hopefully, I'll have another chapter soon. Thanks so much for reading and reviewing :)

It only takes 6lbs of pressure, so yeah, if you grabbed hard and twisted some, a large man could break a small woman's wrist pretty easily.

I like that you have William know how to defend himself, by the way. It balances the character. The goal of most martial arts is to disable and run, so you don't have to be a badass to want to be trained.

And Buffy's strong enough in herself not to just take Angel's temper....also good.

Author's Response: Oh good. Well, not good, good in that yay it's believable. Thanks!

Yes, I've known some people who took various martial arts and they said some similar things. That's why I had William say in the first chapter that he should have just gotten time to run. I imagine his father just wanted him to learn to defend himself.

Yes, generally I don't care much for stories where she stays with whoever is abusing her, unless there's a really good reason. I can't even think of an example of what would be a good reason. Granted, Angel hurt her by mistake, but it's not a good sign of things to come if she stayed with him (in my mind, anyway). Thanks so much for reviewing and for fact checking me!

I thought there would be conflict, but didn't think it would be Buffy getting hurt. Bad Boyfriend Buffy.

Glad William is able to protect himself. Angel will be surprised to say the least. Can see another conflict coming on .. between the boys.

Enjoying..

Author's Response: Yeah, now that's a bad boyfriend, not the guy who watches your baby sister while you're dead, mourns you, comforts you, defends you and your friends, has your back...*smacks self out of rant at season six writers*

Angel is due a surprise, that's true. 'Bout the rest, I'm saying nothing yet!

Thanks so much for your review!

Here's my review! I love this story and am following it closely!

Author's Response: That's great! Thank you! That's all I want to know, if people are liking it or if they're just reading it because...it's there. lol. :)

That was quite a nice chapter, especially the confrontation. It's great to see Buffy rescuing Spike, even if he didn't mean it, because it means they have some kind of connection. I'm sure Angel's beat up a ton of people in his time, and yet Buffy only gets in his face about William. I adored Buffy's dialogue during that scene. And yeah, Buffy's definitely small and "delicate," that's what made her such an appealing heroine on the show. I dunno if you can break a wrist that way; it doesn't really matter as far as the story is concerned, though. Nice to see Buffy "take a break,"; let's just hope she doesn't take William as "going slumming" and turn this into a bigger mess than it really is. Good work, yet again. ^_^

Author's Response: Yes, she's never stood up for anyone before, so that has to mean something.

Yeah, I don't know, for my purposes, I'm going to assume it's possible. I mostly put that in in case anyone from the medical profession read it and went HEY, that's totally impossible. Do you think doctors read spuffy fics? *ponders*

I didn't think this Buffy would stay with somebody who hurt and scared her like that, so thus the break. It's tough though, she does love Angel (she thinks). Thanks so much for reviewing!

William could so kick Angel's ass. LOL I'm glad that he tried to help Willow. Poor Willow.

I'm still wondering what is going on with William's mother. Can't wait to read the next chapter.

Author's Response: Yes, poor Willow! If she wants to wear Elmo fur, she should be able to wear it without being hassled! Willow's practically the only one who's been nice to him, so he had to try to help her.

I still can't comment :) There will be another one soon. I want to get the chapter after that written, which it isn't, to make sure I don't need to change or add anything..blah blah blah no one's interested lol. Thanks for reviewing!

Angel's nothing more than a brute. Poor Buffy.
William gets more mysterious by the minute. I wonder
what happened in his past that makes him want to stay away from fighting?

Author's Response: Angel's got temper issues. So does William, actually, though he has more self control. Back in Chapter 1 you find out he beat up a boy fairly badly after William's father died. It was self defense, but he lost it, basically. It's one of the reasons his mother moved him away. Thanks for reviewing :)
