Buffy asked Willow for help; good turn, so she was able to find William. He is devastated; I can understand why.

FIrst time back in awhile and I get this treat! I don't normally go for most all-human AUs unless they're written very, very well... like this! Yay!

Author's Response: Oh thank you! I'm glad you're enjoying it. The funny thing is that for the longest time I really didn't see the point in all human stories and never read them, but then I read several good ones and when I had an idea, go figure, it happened to be devoid of vampires and slayers. The story is progressing very nicely that's why i am hoping that you could make your update longer next time, please.

I also hope that Dru will not be able to contaminate Spike with her evil ways. I want Spike to remain pure and dignified as he is now.

Author's Response: Wow, I'll try, but I think the next chapter is shorter, I haven't done a word count yet. This last chapter was the longest yet by about 1200 words. The chapters seem to come out short-ish and I end up posting them more frequently, rather than saving everything up and posting once a week.

Well, funny you should mention dignity, that comes into play next chapter.

So it is Dru that bleaches his hair and gives him the name of Spike.. at his disdain. And now with the classic eyebrow injury.

I know I used "Spike" in the last chapter review and then realized it hadn' t been introduced .. just William.

And yeah for Buffy.. taking care of him and getting home in one piece.

Yes, thank goodness the Desoto was an automatic. I had to look that up to see if it was possible. I was like, huh, how am I going to get Buffy to drive him if it's stick. That should be interesting. Dunno about the show Desoto, but at least they came with automatic....

Boy, all kinds of shit has gone down in the last two chapters. And I need MORE! Interesting how you did the William to Spike switch-a-roo. Nice idea on Buffy's part; can't wait to see the awkwardness to follow.

Well, I couldn't see this William going bleach blond on his own. So I wondered what would happen if you put a bored Dru and Faith, some leftovers from Oz's hair experiments and a thoroughly unconscious William in the same room. Apparently, Spike happens. Kinda :)
