I love the affectionate and squabbling sibling relationship you're building between Dawn and Buffy. Hank setting Buffy up on a date with Parker is worrisome. At least you have her feeling uneasy about the snake.

Buffy's attempts to be friends with William are heartfelt, but he really does have a lot on his plate right now. I hope he softens toward her soon, it's sad to have her groveling after him like a kicked puppy.

Author's Response: Thanks, yes Dawn will take her jabs when the opportunity presents, what self respecting younger sister wouldn't, but she does love her sister.

Buffy's a little at loose ends at the moment. Her friends are all busy with cheerleading and football and she can't participate and anyway, that's a little awkward because of the whole Angel/Cordy thing. She still hasn't made any big steps in public, since the hallway argument, but because of her relative isolation and she knows how horrible William is feeling, she's being more persistent than she might have been otherwise. Looks like you're way further here than you are on LJ. Though I like the communication possibilities available on LJ better, I think I'm going to be reviewing here. At least as long as it takes for you to catch up there :)

I just read this story for the first time - I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!! Thought it was funny when Dru just bleached his hair like that - shows her nuttyness in an amusing light. I think the way you're showing Williams confusion and pain is well written. Would have preferred more sparks and 'moments' between William and Buffy , not just him avoiding her all the time - but I'm an optimist and I hope they will come... : )

As far as Dru, almost feel sorry for her. Tries to show off for Daddy and he could care less.

And Buffy, trying so hard to get William's attention. Maybe she can start working out at the gym. Like Dawn would help her William !!

Knowing Parker is going to try something at the Bronze and William will have to protect her again.

And last but not least, Giles has a relationship with Buffy's mother. Huh.. Gotta a lot of twists and turns going on. Like it.
