Buffy drifting apart from her friends is believable. It's hard to maintain a high level of enthusiasm for something you no longer are a part of, and her circle is all about the cheerleading and football. Her sense of satisfaction over Angel playing poorly fits right into the high school mindset. Nice and petty, but understandable.

I love that she's seeking Will out. She can't become his friend if they're out of one another's orbits. This was another entertaining chapter.

Author's Response: The Angel thing was petty, but yes I thought it was kinda human and normal. Not like she's wishing him something horrible, but if he drops the ball she's not going to be too upset!

Right, this story's stuck if Buffy and Will don't see each other at all because they don't have an extensive prior relationship or anything, just a budding attraction. So she has to go to the gym.

Thank you and thanks for reviewing! :)

I'm so used to Buffy being the overtly thick one, I almost forget that Spike's just as quick to sink into denial as she is.

Author's Response: Yeah, I think he's kind of thinking defensively, he really can't open himself up for any more hurt at this stage and I don't think it's even crossed his mind that she might be actually interested in him as anything other than a tutor. Remember, she did imply/say that in that conversation with Dawn that he was witness to. Thanks for reviewing! :)

William still doesn't get it but I give Buffy points for trying yet again! Can't wait for more!

Author's Response: Yes, she's trying! Thanks, and thank you for reviewing :)

Poor clueless William...though I suppose he would run the other way if Buffy did ask for his friendship. I like Buffy's persistance.

Author's Response: She's trying. She has a bit of added incentive too, since her friends are busy with after school stuff that she can't do at the moment. Thanks so much for reviewing! :)

Good thing that Angel (or Riley) don't press charges against William.
Oh clever! Buffy found a way to see William at all. We have to wait how it will turn out (Buffy's plan).

Author's Response: Yes, that would be the last thing William needs. I wouldn't call what Buffy's doing as elaborate as a "plan" LOL. Dawn would probably say it was her idea anyway :) Thanks so much for reviewing!

Claps hands in glee! Yah Buffy's followed him to the Gym which I was hoping she would. With her wrist out of action I can't see there are many pieces of equipment she'd be able to use? Looking forward to the next chapter.

Author's Response: Yes, several people predicted it (well, what else could happen, I suppose, have them apart for the whole story? Already did that in my other one). Well, she can use free weights, and leg machines and the treadmill and...we'll have to see. I'm glad you're still enjoying it. Thanks for leaving a review! :)

you are AMAZING; please keep it coming, it's wonderful!! (also liking the geeky yet hot spike in this ;)

Author's Response: LOL, hardly, but thank you for the compliment :) I'm glad you're liking the story and this Spike. Thanks very much for reviewing!

Will, you're really being a dummy.

Ah, the shallow stuff isn't working for her anymore, but she hasn't quite figured it out, yet. Time to embrace your brain, Buff.

Author's Response: A little bit, yeah.

No, well, who can go back to shallow after hanging out with a guy who can talk about interesting topics? Yes, she needs to actually use her brain, that'd be good. However, at least she's being persistent. Thanks so much for reviewing! :)

Spike.. clueless. Guess Buffy might have to literally hit him over the head...

And I am sure Mr. Crawford will make Spike her personal trainer. And Drusilla?

Enjoying.

Author's Response: LOL. Yeah, she probably will have to do that.

You'll have to find out! Dru will be back, next chapter, I believe. Thanks for reviewing!

Poor William, he just can't see that Buffy wants to be his friend. Great chapter, looking forward to the next! :)

Author's Response: No, he's still a bit blind on that. Thank you and thanks for reviewing! :)

Wow, I have to say William really is dense I'll give him some slack considering what's going on, but he needs to ease off just a bit and at least try to be a friend. Loved the chapter though! It's great seeing Buffy pursue the reluctant hero!

Author's Response: Thanks, yes, she's pursuing him right now, though I still don't think she's thought about why in depth :) Thanks for reviewing!

Poor William. He really doesn't have a clue. I hope you get Buffy to explain why she wants to be friends with him. I don't think he is going to get it if Buffy doesn't actually tell him.

Great of Jenny to be concern with William doing too much. But keeping busy is how some people deal with everything that is going bad in their life.

Author's Response: Oh, I don't know. At some point he'll probably get it :)

Yes, keeping busy can be a good way to cope. Thanks so much for reviewing :)
