Didn't expect Buffy to love, I feared she would have been more upset.
Glad it ended well with the claim now complete. And look there, Buffy had help finding Spike again :)

I loved the story although I think you should either get a beta or just not rush with publishing. You have tons of mistakes. 'on' should sometimes be read as 'one', 'of' as 'off'. etc.
As I enjoyed the story so much it did not bother me but some readers might.
The other thing I want to comment on is the Spike of the past. What happened to him? Did he forget it all or not? Because if not and if he went through the next 2 years with unfinished claim it would have been torture. Besides, how do you explain that the future virtually did not change? If Spike knew two years before that Buffy would miss him, he would surely go to other in Rome and ignore the Immortal.


Author's Response: Thank you for pointing out some of my mistakes, I know I have some problems with grammar and especially with prepositions. The thing is that since English is not my mother language I most often can't just "see" if something is wrong, and even if I read the story carefully I still (as you've noticed) miss it. I'll think about what you said about getting a beta, or at least a better grammarprogram. I'd prefer not to say all this things you've asked questions about because I think it's up to the reader. Since none of us think a like I've mine point of view of this story, which I'm sure is different from yours. And some thing I just wanted to leave unfinished... but maybe I stepped to far... (?) Anyway, I really want to explain how I (I with a giant I) looked at past-Spike. I'd say that it was future-Spike that got sent back into past Spike's body with no memory and no soul. A little weak, yeah. But I'd say the whole story is crypthical. I didn't name it "Nothing Like Dreaming" for nothing. I mean, was it a dream? Or did any of them really go back to the past? But how do I explain the claim then? Did it just show up? For this story, you get to have your own truth. I really appreciate your review; thank you!

Passionate encounter, they had no chance otherwise with the claim. And some explaining... so Spike's excuse was a bit thin (as it was on the show). I wonder how Buffy will take the Harmony incident. And just let Buffy kill the Immortal off, I'm okay with that ;-)

I fell behind. Catching up now.
At last Dawn is okay (happy even) that Buffy is with Spike.
Then Buffy fell asleep and everything around him went black. They are indeed connected now through the claim if I read that correctly.
