Oh buffy please don't go all looking into it and comparing again...............seriously spike is not your father.....................or should I say step father......and hey hasn't he done enough already to prove that he's not *sighs*..........and why do I get the feeling that hanks goin to be coming back and doing something stupid and why do I also get the feeling that angel's goin to be comin in the story soon as well...................OMG you're driving me crazy here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved every word of this chapter. You can just feel Spike's adoration for Buffy in the words you write. I can't wait for the next update.

This was another charming chapter in this entertaining tale. Buffy's affections grow with every meeting, and it's a joy to read. I love Joyce in this story. She's happy for the young lovers, but she also enjoys the mild teasing. She's making Buffy and The Duke just a little off kilter, and it's a lot of fun to read.

Caught red faced in Buffy's case, heheheheeheh. I adored this chapter so much carino. Joyce was an absolute hoot - having her fun at poor Spike's expense. And YAY, squeee, does the snoopy dance for Buffy's feelings leanings more and more towards SPike and away from Angel. Hope SPike can prove to her he'll remain the same and dote on her even after the marriage. I'm looking SOOOOOOOO forward to the ride and the royal ascot now - woo hoo, and especialy if they run into Cecily, *inserts evil grin here*. Fabulous work mi hermana, bravo. wes' reaction to the Earl's arrival was stellar. His seething jealousy bodes well for Spike and Fred's plan to work soon. Here's hoping he doesn't go through a bunch more glassware before coming to his senses.

Buffy has finally just given in. She's smitten, too, and Spike is on the road to happily ever after. I'm sure Angel will show up, throwing a spanner in the works. It's wonderful watching this all unfold.

Oh, Mari, this chapter was so beautiful! My heart broke for Wes but I can't blame Fred one little bit for resorting to such measures to make him admit his feelings for her. The man IS too proud for his own good.

And Spike and Buffy? *swoons* The chemistry between them is so intense I really am proud of them for managing to hold back so far.
