I'm so glad I came across this story! Your writing is wonderful, and the story gets more exciting with each chapter. I've no idea how often you update, but I have a hunch I'd better slow down or I'll be disappointed to find I'm at the end of what's written so far.

William's diary entries are heartbreaking. He is obviously a watcher who lost his slayer and feels it to be his fault. Can't wait to meet him within the context of the story.

I loved how William's journal entry tied-in with his most recent experience with Eliabeth, the Darla part has me a bit worried though. And I liked how you made Elizabeth's dream both cryptic ( the “311 ahead stained with red.” part) and insightful. (show him to live again) Great chapter as always!

This is a fantastic story and one of the best, best historical fics I've read in a long time. I love the naivete Elizabeth can have and the way that pairs with how William is :) they're really a great pair-but things also aren't easy for them. And Giles being there just adds a whole other layer (and now with the dream . . .) I love it!

The first part was hot :) Elizabeth didn't notice that William was hurt when she didn't say a thing to his ILY. Hopefully he'll give her a chance to talk to him.
But then hmmm Elizabeth is dreaming. Sounds almost like a slayer's dream to me. (The character death had me thinking today, but maybe it's not about Elizabeth or William, the dream let me think that; and Susan.)
I hope too that Elizabeth will stay.

Just letting you know that I'm still reading and thoroughly enjoying this fic! The overheard conversation between Giles and William was nice. Definitely the kind of thing I would expect from Giles... Being concerned with and liking Buffy, although seeing an asset in her at the same time.

Oh, and definitely looking forward the continuation of this fight/make-out scene you've left us with. ;)

That was one powerful diary entry, so very heartbreaking. :( The staking scene was great, I enjoyed reading Elizabeth's thoughts throughout the fight. The closing scene wonderful too, loved the sparring ang the smoochies. :D Fantastic chapter!

The William/Eizabeth interaction was simply wonderful throughout the chapter. I really enjoyed the scene at the stream, loved the “Would you care for some cheese to go with your whine?” line... lol! And the 'dancing' and kissing scenes were also great. Fantastic update! :D
