Wow! I meant to just start reading this fic earlier tonight, no, last night, and I couldn't stop. It's now 3:49 a.m. and I'm just praying the kids will sleep in!! lol

This fic is AWESOME!!! I love it. I love the slayer dreams, the characters, the vivid descriptions and the story line.

When Elizabeth first reacted to her uncle at the beginning of the story, I wondered why you'd named him Nathaniel instead of Ethan, but you've made that one of his aliases. You must have hit his creapiness on the head, because Ethan always gave me the wiggings. :)

Ohhhh my goodness what is happening in this tale? You're an amazing storyteller, one that would make Andrew proud. Although I wanna freaking KNOW what's happening next, I hope not an ounce of this suspense is sacrificed for a quicker conclusion. Which means I'll be waiting. Patiently. If it KILLS me. Update soon! Or... not. Either way I'll be thrilled when I get to read Chapter 22. :)

Goodness! I had no idea I had missed so many chapters. Work installed a net nanny on our computers, which blocked me from SR. After 5 whole weeks of agonizing torture, they removed the darned thing...so, Im back!

Oh, poor Buffy! Too be preggers and have to willingly let William go to save all of their lives. Poor thing! I cannot imagine what those horrid townfolk are going to do to her when they find out.

And you completely threw me for a loop with the Rupert/Nathaniel sibling thing! Wowzer! I knew there was something hinky, but I had no clue!

Heartbreaking!

So nice to see the new chapter, and of course it was Giles to the rescue!

Elizabeth played her role in the escape plan admirably ~ for a moment I feared she'd lose herself in William's embrace and allow them to be re-captured (as has happened in *so many* other tales!). I'm pleased that she agreed to Giles' plan without much argument.

I also love the blood bond they formed and of course, revisiting the symbolism of William's words regarding blood and their clasped hands ~ lovely.

I am worried about Elizabeth now. Will she wed Riley as a cover for her pregnancy or will she lay herself on the line and simply hope that Giles and William return in time to save?

Author's Response: Thanks for the review, Thundercat! Yep--reliable Giles to the rescue! Elizabeth was indeed willing to give up her present happiness for WIlliam's sake and didn't lose her courage in follwing through...I'm happy you enjoyed their bond and the symbolism behind it--that was actually one of Spike's visions in the prologue, though not sure if anyone remembers that far back....Elizabeth is defintely in a tough situation now--she really is forced to be at the mercy of others.

No....she can't stay there. Ethan will force her to marry to protect his family's honor.
Elizabeth should run away to Giles cabin.

I enjoy reading the opening diary excerpt and trying to guess what it reveals of the upcoming chapter. This time I thought it augured that Giles would either sacrifice himself or force Elizabeth away in some way to protect or prevent William from being put to death for his charged offenses.

Are we meant to assume that Nathaniel is taking on an Ethan-esque role in this story, in relation to Giles?

I love how Elizabeth has learned to hone her visions and how you continue to surprise us with unexpected twists and turns in this story. Keep up the good work!
