Thought (feared) so... so Buffy is worried because Spike is only human and not strong. Hard to keep up with a slayer then.
So Giles and Willow brought news... but not being able to hear when hurt? I just saw it in an TV episode; this can get very annoying. You have to be careful as if you're made of glass.
Seems as if Giles failed to talk Buffy out of it but now Spike is gone?

Author's Response: He can heal as much as any human at least-he just doesn't have vamp healing. It means that if he receives a wound that should kill him he won't die, but might not heal either. Scary stuff yes. Thank you so much for all of your reviews!

I'm sorry that I haven't done this sooner, but I wanted to let you know how much I love this story and it just keeps getting better and better with each chapter. Has to admit that I'm hoping for a happy ending for them, because they really deserve it. Not sure if this will help or not, but you've got a devoted fan in me and I am always on the edge of my seat waiting for updates. And Thank You for writting such wonderful stories, is reading several of yours as well.

Awesome story - I'm addicted! Angst is well & good, but it's so refreshing & feel-goody to get to read a story where Spike & Buffy have such a great 2nd chance & where they're both smart & forgiving enough to take it. Please keep Spike & Buffy happily together & keep sharing the Spuffy lovin' with us as you write this! I really, really like it! Can't wait to see how Buffy works to convince Spike she really loves him now :)

Still reading and enjoying. I hope for an explanation about why Spike is human. Seems he took it reather easily. Also, this whole she owns the sole thing is interesting but could use some fleshing out.

Author's Response: There really isn't any more explanation-since Buffy is his soul's final destination and she did not relinquish the claim the soul was returned to her. Since it needs containment in this plain of existence his body came with it. The demon stayed dead. Without the demon, Spike's body is human. There are of course still some complications... I love this story. However, I'm ashamed to confess that I couldn't wait, I had to go to the other site and read the rest. But it's so good, I'll keep reading as you'll post here as well. Oh and I love the banner too. :)

Author's Response: hehe...don't be ashamed I've been wondering how long it would take for someone to realize that was on option. The version here has the benefit of an extra edit-read thru and the chapters are broken a little different-but basically the same. Also-since I was reading Healing over there and then found that there was ten extra chapters here... ;)

Heh heh had to giggle that Spike thought shopping Buffy was more scary than Slayer Buffy.
Good to see them talk and get rid off some misunderstandings. At last they have something now they can work with. :))
