Whew , that sizzled Mabel , so glad their finally together , can't wait for chapter 21, as for it seeming realistic as far as attempted suicide goes ,this is fantasy not real life i read Spuffy to get away from RL . It was great Mabel.

Yay! FINALLY some lovin'! and Spike seems to be getting back to himself. Hopefully he'll be getting better physically too before you torture him some more *you evil woman you*! I'm just wondering if Angel is going to be so supportive of the new couple even though he's the one that brought Buffy back?

well, I got to read 2 chapters straight this time. What a pleasure! I'm glad that S feels relatively well, but to tell you frankly I find it rather unrealistic. Ppl after suicide do not usually bounce back so well, even if the love of their life gets returned to them. Shame and feeling of worthlessness intensifies after the attempt. Still, I can't wait to read how S gets on his feet again.

Maybe the slap did help; Spike is used to Buffy reaction this way ;-)
But at last Spike is believing Buffy, that's very good.
hoped that being reunited with Buffy would be the turning point that he needed. Me too :)
And it turned out well, Buffy has a reason now to stay 24/7 at Spike's (not that she wouldn't have done it anyway)

I love the line about Spike considering Buffy hitting him normal behavior.
You touched on a lot this chapter – with Spike feeling remorse over his suicide attempt including guilt knowing that Buffy would be the one to find him. Also, Buffy’s realization that Spike knew she was visiting him at night and he still went through with his suicide attempt.
