For all it's claims of being a feminist show, Dreamweavers story actually is. As overlord of SD, Buffy rules with justice and compassion.
Spike gets respect, Buffy gets happiness and they are In Love. Beautiful.
Author's Response: Oh, thank you! Joss was so fixed on demons being evil even though there was Lorne and Clem to show otherwise, and so he never gave Spike a break. I thought Buffy would make a great overlord and that she and Spike absolutely belong together. I'm so glad you liked it!

i absolutely luved this!! i really liked how buffy acted at first to grab spike's attention instead of letting him wait for years to realise what he felt. i also liked how you dealt with angel and dru in the end. i only wish there was more... is there a sequel?

I don't know why, but about half the time I have to put my reviews in twice before they take. Sometimes I don't bother w/ the 2nd time. This has only been happening this month. Anywho- loved the story; can't believe it's over. Hope you have more of what Angel does next. Will he take care of Dru for 100 years & then it will be Buffy's turn as Minder? Loved it that Buffy told Angel what she was up to: I'm going to claim him".

I use it too often, but it seems to me the ultimate commitment, proof to both of them that neither of them will ever abandon the other. I'm so glad you like it! And Dru really was Angel's responsibility, which he ducked. I thought it was only fair that he should carry the load now.

Spike gets antsy, knowing the slayer loved him and he is on his way too or already there. Mmmm Angel, Spike's personal punching bag? He won't like that ;-)
Love Buffy in Slayer mood. She took care of Angel too including giving Dru a chance to get healed without Angel being killed off.
Oh sneaky indeed with the claim. :) Buffy made sure Spike won't burn up (at last not alone). Plus he believes her now.
