Love watching the closeness that 's developing between Spike and Buffy. She needs some good people in her life. Hope the update can be soon.

I seem to repeat myself in a lot of reviews with, "Oh, poor Buffy!" and I see no reason to stop now. ;) Such a bleak view on her life in the closing sentences. And what a perfect response from Spike. *sigh*

Good for Buffy! And I like what you've done for Faith - normally she seems to be written more in the direction of "evil Faith" so it's refreshing to see her actually nice to Buffy for a change.

“Pipe down, baby. I’ll be just as hung-over as your mother, no more.” Excellent Faith voice, and hilariously mean.
Buffy's call to Willow was a nice dash of reality in the sanctuary of strangers and alcohol. Buffy's got some real life decisions to make, but this break is a welcome respite.
I'm looking forward to more 20 Questions and Faith getting trashed!
Author's Response: So glad you loved that Faith comment, I confess I giggled to myself a bit when I wrote it. With that phone call as the once connection to her outside problems, you can bet Buffy won't be making calls again, but that doesn't mean people won't try to bring her problems TO her. Was initially disappointed that 20 questions got cut off but you more than made up for it with the introduction of nice-but-slutty Faith. More of her, please!

I guessed Anya was Xander's girlfriend but Faith is even better here. She and Buffy went along from the start. It can't hurt Buffy to find new friends (that get her to loosen up a bit - in the sense of doing what she wants and not her parents - ).
Then you haven't been spending time with the right people. Yeah, that could indeed be the case.
