You're right, Spike is addictive. Especially for Buffy :)
At last she knows now where she's most interested in and that isn't being on a party with Riley.
Spike is good for Buffy, showing her to have fun again even (or especially) when working.
And Spike handed a lot to Buffy on a silver platter with this claim (but I'm glad that she didn't want a pet to her beck and call).
Oops busted now? And of all people it had to be Xander....

And the single claim? It's the kind of thing Spike would do. He's her willing slave anyway.

thats just wrong not only you update daily it is also great fic and had the potiential to be long fic and you stop at FIVE!!!!!! chapters thats just wrong by the way what happened to Angelus and Darla.
I wanted to see some adventure, at least one prophecy and a power boost or something.

Angelus? Angel's still got him contained. And I think at this point in canon Darla's still dusted and Wolfram and Hart haven't brought her back. Dru would be still off in Brazil somewhere.

If only Buffy had been able to show such confidence and determination in her personal life on the show. She was so strong when it came to slayer stuff, but in her personal relationships she was a wimp who doubted her instincts and caved at the slightest pressure from her so-called friends.
I'd love to see a sequel to this seing how they deal with Adam and then Glory, utilising the advantages of the claim.

Oh, Spike is leaving already; found his crypt then. Typical Buffy, not trusting her own feelings, huh? At last that brought her to the psychic demongirl. But she gained unexpected knowledge... and more inside into Angel's mind that the ever wanted.
But Spike noticed that something was off (Buffy worried); so brownies for him ;-)
Loved the spuffyness; and at last Buffy is honest, telling that the doesn't know what tomorrow will be. Though I hope that she'll change her mind after she saw how good she and Spike are together.
:) Looking forward to the next - and sadly last - part. Or will there be more (4 or 5 parts)?

Such a slight adjustment in Buff's attitude makes for a much more believable plot. I always hated how callous she was towards the newly chipped Spike. You also seem to have picked up on the same points I did at the time, such as Spike saying 'did we win?', thus demonstrating his identifiction with the Scoobies. Points the writers then totally ignored.

Author's Response: Her callousness both here and when he gets his soul - I hated that. It made Buffy small. Sometimes I wonder whether the writers were really aware of what they were actually doing. The 'we' thing is a case in point - they wrote it but didn't seem to see what it meant.
