Heh heh Spike noticed that Angel thought he had the ring, that he couldn't kill him. Saved him indeed.
And right, I guess too that Spike would have cared to have his soul fix so he wouldn't loose it.
YAY for Spike believing Buffy now.

Spike just playing mood ring off was hysterical, and I love that it forced Angel into hearing the whole story. You made this work beautifully. Angel being drawn into the entire reveal, having to be witness to both Buffy professing her love and telling Spike he's going to be a daddy was stellar.
This chapter has put a big grin on my face, especially this funny, in voice line: “I'm not dreaming, right? I'm still very drunk, so if this is some strange hallucination...” Spike's been drinking for hours, it's no wonder he's a bit concerned.

OMFG IM SO HAPPY THAT SHE TOLD HIM!!! i LOVE this story and am so happy that u updated. im so happy that she told him she loves him and that shes pregnant. i hope that hes excited and that she gives him the ring so that angel doesnt try to kill him. also i hope that now buffy and him can finally be together and happy. Yay! Big big applause. Great great chapter that put a huge smile on my face. I love how Spike was such an extreme pest to Angel and told him a few things that Angel needed to hear. i love how Buffy had to chase down Spike and prove her love to him. He definitely needed that. Now I think Spike needs to do a bit of groveling, apologizing, and pampering to Buffy for not talking to her and taking off and leaving her all distressed and alone. Poor girl's going to be tramuatized, she'll never be able to sleep after sex again! Simply wonderful chapter. :-)
