This story was a complete delight, from start to finish. So well written. Dialogue, characterizations, plot, pacing, all perfect. I'd have preferred more smut, but I'm twisted like that, and I don't begrudge you for not indulging more! Adding to my favorites, and now that I've read two of your stories and loved them both, you're being added as a favorite author.

I hope it is not too late to review! Very nicely done, I especially like the thought out way the plot unfolded, the idea of the Gem of Amarra making Spike capable of fathering a child was interesting, also I liked your pairing of Willow with Wesley. I look forward to reading more of your work.
p.s. Can I just say "good on you" for using the word "myriad" properly, and also using "nauseated" rather than "nauseous" also correctly - those two word are almost never used the way they are supposed to to be! One of my pet peeves.

I loved it!....Especially when Spike and Angel were drinking and Angel thought the mood ring was the Gem! and Mr. Crankypire??? Laughed right out loud....and I read this at work....got looked at funny but it was worth it!

Sorry, I was probably a lurker (bad Carrie), but I tend to shy away from stories that aren't finished (again, BAD Carrie - I'm too impatient and a big fan of instant gratification!).

So I saw this was finally finished! YAY! WOO HOO! Awesome story! I loved how you played with the dialogue from season five and twisted it to your storyline. I was shocked that Harm actually got dusted (if only THAT happened in the series... *sigh*) and the progression of Spike and Buffy's feelings were more natural (not a wham-bam-thank you ma'am type of thing).

The funniest parts for me were when Buffy and Spike watched the day-time shows like Maury - and then she had her own dream about being on the "My Baby's Daddy" show! LMAO, I cracked up!

"The Peas." That was cute and funny to hide the Gem there - good idea! And wow! Willow and Wesley (cause in real life they're married and were gah gah over each other from the first moment) was great!

I hope you'll pop in on all the couples from time to time and give us glimpses of their lives - I'd love to see them growing older, and by far... wiser!

Thanks for the ride (I read this all in one setting *fans self*) and I hope to enjoy another adventure soon!

I had a lot of fun writing it and coming up with twists and shockers. I'm so glad you enjoyed the Maury show parts. LOL! I spent too much time gawking over those Baby Daddy shows for research for this and feel I probably lost a few brain cells in the process. But if I have entertained, then I feel it was well worth it. LOL! My mother uses a fake soup can in the freezer to hide her most valuable jewels, so blame her for the silly idea. :) And the Wes/Willow thing, I added because I love their RL relationship and just had to find a way to get them together in one of my fics. :) I can't believe you read it in one setting! Super reader, is you.
