Wonderful chapter! Thanks for clarifying the title change. I must have read the first chapter soon after you posted it and when I went back to review, the title was different. I figured I must be too sleepy and that it wouldn’t be a good time to review your story when I couldn’t even get the title straight. :)

I never liked the idea of Buffy leaving Spike in the alley. I always thought she must have gone back to help him even if they didn’t show it on camera. So, I’m loving this story. Buffy is being held accountable without being totally bashed. The Scooby gang (including Tara and especially Giles) let her down after her big reveal about being in heaven. I know everyone was having his or her own problems but still… There should have been an intervention in season six instead of season five.

Author's Response: Sorry about the title thing. No wonder it seemed like a perfect fit to me. LOL Yeah, a common theme in the fics that I've done on this episode is that something had to have happened in between this show and the next one to make them all right with each other.

I like the start :) Not only because Buffy changed her mind, Tara's role here too. And Dawn trying to bring Buffy to see some sense.

This is a good story so far. I am glad that Tara did not let Buffy off the hook for beating Spike so badly. I never liked that Buffy was never made to face the abuse she inflicted on Spike. Please update soon.
