I read this story more than a year ago and loved it, though I never reviewed. Then I forgot the title and on wich site it was on. I've been looking and looking and... well you get the picture. And then today, by a coincidence I found it again. And I'm so happy! It's a wonderful story (I usually don't like angst) and it touched me in a way few other stories have. I just wanted you to know that. Thanks for an amazing story!

I know that it's a little late to be submitting a review for this fic, and I'm not even sure if you'll read it at this point, but here goes anyways... I just wanted to post something because even though a read this fic a while back, I'm not sure if I ever reviewed, and it was extremly memorable to me. At this time in my life, I had just been feeling the backlash from several deaths in my family & I felt as though this fic in a way helped me to mourn the passings of these family members. Maybe this all sounds a bit crazy to you, but just reading such a realistic portrayal of familial loss made me feel as though I wasn't the only person going through somthing like this. But, at the same time, it made me wonder why I couldn't have gotten through this experience with someone so amazing as the Spike in this fic! ; )
