No shooting. Even angsty stories need a little kissage time. I am really enjoying this fic-I'm glad that the stuff with Dru wasn't worse. It would be hard to forgive Spike if it had been a steady stream of abuse that he wasn't noticing. This is rough, but understandable (meaning it's understandable that Spike didn't see it coming).

Whew that was some sad sorry, poor Spike needs help too with his issues , i hope you put both him and Bilyy in therapy because they need it. I'm glad Spikes telling Buffy (and us readers) what happened , having a close family member who is currently in the pscychatric unit at the hospital for the past 2 weeks I understand where Spike is coming from.

I don't know if I am able to continue reading this. I want to but I might not be able to. If Spike had a feeling that Billy was being abused by Dru and did nothing because he wanted to live in denial. Then I think he is more guilty than Dru. His first job as a parent is to protect his child. He failed in a major way. As I said before my father was sexually abusive. I always thought my mother knew but wanted to be in denial that she had the "perfect family" I really don't know if I am able to forgive Spike for that if that is the case. And to be honest, I am not feeling the love for Billy all that much. I know it isn't his fault but I am not feeling the love for little Billy. I don't dislike him either though. He does need to realize that lying is bad. That no one is ever going to trust him if he keeps lying. Which is going to make Buffy what, their savior. LOL I guess in the end I do want to see Spike and Billy had a wonderful father and son relationship. I just have mix emotions for this story. And I don't know if I can continue reading it.
