I was so excited to see you'd updated. That was so funny. Their snappy exchange was wonderful. I enjoyed Spike being amused by her, wanting to take of her, but without being overbearing. I especially loved this line: "Been fun and all, and I have to admit, watching you do your own version of the Macarena was bloody hilarious, but I think it’s time to put an end to this and call it a night." That's one hell of a mental picture - it totally cracked me up! I'm glad Buffy's dignity was partly restored by the end of the evening though. Please don't make us wait too long before finding out what happens over coffee.

I absolutely adore this story. Initially, the warning put me off, but then of course it turned out to be nothing like I'd expected. I love the way you're developing the characters here. I especially like your flawed, edgy Spike who's nonetheless clearly a softie at heart - just been through a lot. Really hope you update soon!
