I'm really loving this fic. I think Spike's character is very well drawn and I feel so bad for him, while at the same time want to throttle him much of the time! I need to hear more about Buffy before I really form an opinion on her, but I love their interaction, and in this chapter especially I thought it was very believable. Neither knows the perfect thing to say or do, and they're struggling. Can't wait to read more!

It makes my brain hurt a bit to think about the plot points I still have to cover but then I remember we are only on the tenth chapter, so I should just let it flow how it's gonna flow. That's assuming my brain is working well enough for anything to flow, of course. Need to work on the other story, but I'm just gonna have to hold off until I know I won't crap out on it (for lack of a more eloquent way to put things). I bet Buffy will end up comforting him and that will lead to sex.

You know the characters and have put them in story that is about what Spuffy are.

Buffy brings Spike out of the Dark and into the Light.

He is at such a bad place and she is gonna be the one that helps him find his way to a good place.

I have fell in love with this story.

I had thought about adding a statement or two in regards to the decor of the house that would have made his motivation to take her to the bedroom less suspicious, but I decided 'nah, whatever, it's Spike. We probably should be suspicious, because c'mon...Spike + Buffy + bed doesn't usually equal a tea party.' But all I can guarantee is that the conversation about Willow is happening next chapter! Now I've managed to catch up. I really liked this last chapter, I hope things will get a little better for them from now on. I'll definitely keep reading this story and I'm glad I started, even though I was a bit afraid to start reading at first. *lol*
