Well it's a tremendous difference (big difference) to be asked to spent more time with one's friends or oneself :) I don't think Buffy cares about the others much after how they are behaving towards her.
And Spike isn't dumb, he noticed at once that the others must have done something to chase her away. And he's not pleased :) Points for Buffy.
But on the other hand Spike seems to have plans on his own with Buffy. Plans that maybe aren't good for her.

I like the premise of this story and Buffy's background and how it is explained. I'm not sure Buffy's behavior is very realistic or reasonable, though. I'd try to give more sentences into her thought processes and why she is deciding to be around Spike, even feeling a chill or foreboding and then pushing it away instead of her wandering through whatever actions you want her to be in without motive or thoughts, or else making it more clear if her mind is hazed or being guided by a thrall. Also, I'm not sure if you were talking about rape in the earlier part of this chapter or about Spike taking blood whether she was willing or not.
I'm looking forward to finding out more about what Spike wants from Buffy and what the relationship between Angelus, Darla, Drusilla, and William is in this universe.

Author's Response: Yeah, I admit I've kind of blanked out on this story a bit. I am keeping a lot intentionally vague as what is obvious to all of us, of course, regarding some of the characters is not yet obvious to Buffy. As far as Spike taking what he wants whether she's willing or not, I think he pretty much means anything he wants, sex and blood most likely included given his nature and his interest in her. Hmmm, I don't know Pandie, i'm not liking spike to much in this fic right now . I 'm intrigued by it thiugh and will read more , but I certainly don't like the freak trio, they make me feel ill. Glad Buffy took off , let's see what happens sunday at dinner, update soon.
