Great Angel/Spike interaction, very intense things on on in that scene. Trouble is definitely bound to surround Spike and Buffy with Spike's "family" in the picture. The girl talk between Buffy and Willow was also great. Wonderful chapter!

Getting the uber complicated story in my brain into a slightly simpler story in type is proving to be easier said than done. I think I'm getting my brain back into gear, though. Glad you like it! It is funny because I could have sworn I left a review to this chapter. I came back to see if you replied back but my review wasn't there. That is strange.
I wrote, What does Spike want. I bet it is to be loved. That would be my guess. Spike always wanted to love and be loved in return. I could be wrong but that is my guess.
Author's Response: Maybe this fic is haunted, because that's not the first time someone has thought they left a review and then it wasn't there. It's only been this fic of all my fics. I guess that makes it extra spooky. As far as your review, well, I hate to give anything away, and there's a lot more to the story than that, but I can't resist telling you that you're thinking along the right lines. I know were only on ch 5,well then you need to write faster Pandie, the suspense is killing me, every time i think maybe this is the scheme my mind immediately concocts another scenario, and another. What's Spike planning , i need to know. Still hate the freaky trio especially Angelus, yuck. Update soon . Still lovin this story.

Well Buffy has to find a way to explain to Spike what she wants and what not - his friends. :-D
But Spike wants the same as Buffy. Ah well Buffy should listen to Willow and be careful but I think she will be in a different kind of danger from Spike.

Well it's a tremendous difference (big difference) to be asked to spent more time with one's friends or oneself :) I don't think Buffy cares about the others much after how they are behaving towards her.
And Spike isn't dumb, he noticed at once that the others must have done something to chase her away. And he's not pleased :) Points for Buffy.
But on the other hand Spike seems to have plans on his own with Buffy. Plans that maybe aren't good for her.
