Buffy's head is still in the clouds? William must have made a very big impression because Buffy is acting not like herself, taking a risk this time. And he has a very good hearing too (my theory goes for vampire here).

Recently I've been looking for fics with human Buffy and vampire Spike, and seeing how different writers handle it, and I look forward to seeing how you choose to write this fic. Buffy's introduction and her views on Hank and the snobs at the party are the perfect opening for her character, though I have all sorts of questions about Spike. I'd love to find out more, and I hope you keep writing so I can keep reading!
Author's Response: I'm kind of curious as to how I'm going to handle matters in this fic myself. I have a few ideas regarding how I want to write certain characters. I really hadn't considered doing this type of fic, then all of the sudden, I just had a compulsion to start it. I'm kind of excited as it gives me some interesting elements to work with.
