A good wish Joyce made, maybe feeling what Buffy felt made them more understandable.
At last Giles feels regret. Sad to see that isn't so in Willow's case. Hopefully a new start will help her (and maybe she'll find Tara again).

I guess I can't blame Spike for thinking Buffy doesn't love him , she never gave him any reason to believe otherwise. I liked Joyce telling Spike the truth of B's feelings. Now we need our Spike back... snarky, fierce,ballsy and cocky to go in there and kick ass.

He really doesn't believe her (that Buffy loves him).
Good to see that the blood convinced him that is was really Joyce and he'll give the rescue mission a chance.
But Spike wasn't better than Angel, just not going back because he thought he did the right thing for her. Nobody asked Buffy.
(Well I guess the decision Spike make in canon is more because of SMG not wanting (not being able to) play Buffy again).
Oh good, the gem of Amara will be handy for Spike.
