At last they made it so far and Larry didn't say that he won't let Spike leave, he wants both to stay. Sounds because they have send him there is a chance to get out. :)

I have to say I didn't expect that hope that is such a cool twist that makes so much sense that and love neither should exist in hell. I have to say for a moment there I thought maybe they would be able to run all the way back home, but of course then the adventure would be over I am curious as to what challenges Larry has in his twisted mind.

This right here: "She was full of imperfection, and in his eyes, that was what made her perfect." This is exactly the reason why I believe that Spike is the one for Buffy. The others, they only saw what they wanted to see, not the real Buffy, but some ideal they've got in their heads. Spike saw her - all of her - and loved her for her. The Slayer and the woman, including all her flaws, mistakes, etc.

I absolutely thank you for these paragraphs. They're my whole reasoning in staying a Spuffy fan. :) Great job! I'm still reading through the chapters I've missed, I just wanted to leave a little thanks for that line. Already loving this story!

The wash of emotions coursing through Spike - the love and wonder and determination and optimism - are all beautifully conveyed, and so is Buffy's fragile hope. She's been in this dimension for centuries. It's worn her confidence razor thin. The horrific dreams of losing Spike undermine the hope she feels when she's awake.

The lovemaking reforged that connection and the physical and emotional reaction to the bite was vivid and glorious. Right up to the nightmare world trying to tear itself apart. Let's hope this is a step forward, not a punishment for the demon crossing a line.

It's always great to see more of this emotional story. Thanks for updating.

So good to see an update :)) Sweet Spuffyness.
But this time something went different / wrong. It definitely sounds as if Buffy remembers her old life. I hope she won't forget her recent ones (and thinking the worst).
