I am glad that Spike called and I enjoyed their conversation. I can't imagine why Dana is in the story but I will wait and see where you take that. As usual Xander did not dissapoint he is his usual bigoted self. I really don't like how he speaks to Buffy and until he can grow up I hope he is gone forever. Another good chapter.

Author's Response: Thanks Bridget! Eventually, all of the characters are going to be drawn back together for a common purpose (hint hint: Dana's involved) and so there's going to have to be some major conflict resolutions before they can even attempt to work as a team again. Perhaps Willow and her witchy ways will come in handy once again. :) More coming soon!

Excellent follow-up! I love that Tara moved in to the house and it was great seeing Buffy missing Spike. I have ALWAYS wanted to read a story where Spike still goes out and seeks his soul. So many people hate that he did that, but I always felt that it showed how much he loved her and how different he was from Angel. He actually wanted to get his back for Buffy, Angel never did. So yay! On the polar opposite, I'm a bit sad about the whole Xander thing. I always hate seeing him soooo mean. I felt that he could be stupid and a bit of a pain in the ass but in the end he always was a good friend. Even when he almost axed Spike on the show, it was because Spike had sex with Anya. But I have faith in this story, no matter what direction you chose to take it. Can't wait for the next one. :-)

Author's Response: Thank you! I loved Tara, and I was completely bummed when they killed her off the show. I think that the fact that Spike gets his soul is also important, because of what you said. Angel didn't have a choice to get his soul back. He was forced into it. Spike got his because he wanted to be the kind of man Buffy could love, etc. In my head, Spike's getting the soul on his own to make things better for them is good, especially since he's worried about what might happen should the chip ever stop working...more on that later!

Xander is an idiot who only sees his side of things. Can hardly wait for the next update!

Nothing can stop Spike now, huh? Good that the doesn't think of failing, the trials will be hard enough (suspecting that this will be like canon).
Awe, Buffy said she's in love with Spike :) She didn't even notice *g*.
And she was right, telling Xander some facts even if he didn't want to hear them. Xander is a bit too much biased when it comes to people Buffy loves / her boyfriends that don't include him.

Wow that was intense. I was surpised that Buffy blurted out that she loves Spike but I'm glad she did. Xanders attitude is annoying and he really needs to grow up and I can't believe he treated Tara like that. Can't wait to see what else will happen with Dana
