Forgive and never forget, sometimes trust earned can be as difficult as switching bodies and living another's life. But Faith has already done that to Buffy and even though she is on the road to redemption, she chose to just pop into Buffy's life on the presumption that no matter what she has done in the past, that she will always trust Buffy to do right by her. Buffy is right to not trust Faith at face value, Faith even though her name suggests loyalty and trust has yet to prove to Buffy that she can live up to those values. Faith has all but stated that she doesn't have to prove herself but be the weapon she is intended to be. That in itself does not instill Buffy with warm fuzzies knowing that Faith is still emotionally detached and is just following her instincts. Her instincts told her to run to Buffy for help, who is more trustworthy than Buffy? Sure everyone looks to Buffy for orders including Faith but she is still not above pushing Buffy's insecurity buttons for self gratification....and she claims she is not looking for revenge? Anyways, Faith is good at one thing and one thing only, looking out for Faith. Hope Spike gives her a good talking too on redemption, he will always be a killer to Faith, just as she told Buffy that he killed and eaten multitudes of people, the only difference between Spike and Faith is that Spike did not have his soul when he was evil. Look forward to more.

Author's Response: Thanks Vette! You definitely bring up a very good issue. You're right about Faith...but at the same time, we know that eventually, she wasn't really bad anymore. She was just...I don't even know...just Faith, I guess. More up soon!

I guess Faith would of found out sooner or later. Hope nobody else finds out. Can't wait for more!

Author's Response: Thanks Ami! I'm so pleased to hear that I'm writing Faith ok! It's kinda hard to write her. :) I'm doing ok. My doc put my on Vicodin but sent me home. I don't have gallstones. I just think my gallbladder hates me. LOL

Well, she couldn't keep that a secret forever. I'm not worried about Faith, though. Sure, she's a bitch, but I do believe she has changed and I know she wouldn't tell the council about that, not when she's running from them as well. I hope Buffy and Faith can work together, I always like it more when they're friends and not enemies.
